Truck Series Tune-Up: Alexander to Race Saturday at Caraway
May 8, 2025 (CHARLOTTE, North Carolina) - Caraway Speedway will play host to the opening race of Jayson Alexander's 2025 season. Before hopping into his Truck Series ride, he will compete at the short track located in the heart of North Carolina this Saturday night.
The 0.455-mile asphalt short track began pavement racing history starting in 1972. Over the years, Caraway has seen the rise of legendary drivers such as Dale Earnhardt Sr., Sam Ard, Bobby Labonte, and many others, all of whom contributed to its storied legacy. Today, the facility hosts the infamous Cars Tour, as well as NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series events.
Alexander will be joining forces with a familiar group for the function. Ross Dalton Racing will support the efforts of the JAR crew, as they had great success in the standalone race they did last season at Hickory Motor Speedway. When asked about the opportunity Alexander expressed great enthusiasm, “I am Super excited to get back behind the wheel with RDR at Caraway Speedway. Thank you to Ross Dalton for giving me the opportunity to get a proper tune up before our 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series campaign begins.”
You can catch Jayson Alexander competing in David “Lightning” Saunders Memorial at Caraway Speedway in the limited late model division this Saturday, May 10 at 7 PM. Additionally, you can click here for more information and watch live on CarawaySpeedway.tv.
